The hole in the wall
Children use these computers to learn what they want to learn. And they try to teach their friends or siblings how to use browser. Children also record their own music and play them back to listen. They have enjoyed through the process. His experiment was what children would do with computer if they don't have any experiences.
Children described the computer in their own terms. The children learned to use the computer without any assistance, which means self-directed learning.
Personal experiences using technology for my own children
- 4th grader's shoe race crisis

I never taught my sons how to tie their shoe races. I always bought them shoes with Velcro. But the problem was that since my son is a 4th grader, there were not that many shoes with Velcro for his age. So what I did was, just playing a Youtube video about how to tie shoe races. He spent just 20 min to master the skill.
-Stop motion video

My family is a big fan of the Lego Movie. One day, I wanted my children to make their own Lego Video using a app. I just googled apps to find the right tools, " Stop Motion studio". They watched several short Lego movies on Youtube, and then started to make themselves. It took just 30 min for them to figure out and made a 2 min movie, which they were so proud of themselves.
